All dental treatments can be performed under general anesthesia for patients who are extremely afraid of dentist seats, and for mentally disabled patients who need dental treatment. General anesthesia can also be preferred in operations to remove cysts that are too large to be removed under local anesthesia; in patients with inadequate jawbone that needs to be completed; and in multiple implant operations. These procedures can be performed easily and safely, not in a clinical setting, but in full-fledged hospital conditions. Except for major operations, patients are usually discharged on the same day after the operation.
