Health Tourism
In recent years, both Turks and foreign patients living in Europe have preferred Turkey as their first choice for health tourism. Izmir, on the other hand, is progressing as a shining star in terms of dental tourism, thanks to its geographical location close to the resorts. Dent Forum oral and dental health polyclinic is located in the district of Narlıdere in Izmir. It is 20 minutes drive from the airport, 15 minutes from Konak city center, and 1 hour from popular holiday resorts such as Cesme and Kusadasi. When you come to our clinic, you will have the opportunity to have both your holiday and dental treatments. So what should we do for in this regard?
WHAT ARE THE THINGS TO DO BEFORE STARTING THE TREATMENT?
1-If you have a previously taken panoramic x-ray or tomography; send it using the “E mail”, “WhatsApp", or "send x-ray" button on the home page.
2-After the x-ray images are reviewed, our physicians will make a treatment plan in line with your requests, and if necessary, an appointment date will be determined for a video-conference.
3-After your appointment is scheduled on the day acceptable for you, your treatment will start.
4- Airport transfer service is provided for our patients who want, and you will be able to stay in our contracted hotel near the clinic.
HOW LONG WILL MY TREATMENT TAKE? HOW LONG WILL I NEED TO STAY IN TURKEY?
Your treatment time will depend on the procedure to be performed. The average times of treatments are given below. These times may vary depending on the difficulty of the case.
- Filling: 1-2 days
- Whitening: 1 day
- Lamina (leaf tooth): 1 week
- Zirconium Tooth: 1 week
- Implant: 1 week for the first stage and temporary teeth, 2 weeks for the permanent teeth when you come again after 3 months.
IT IS SAID THAT THE PERMANENT TEETH ARE PLACED IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE PLACEMENT OF THE IMPLANTS; SO, DO YOU HAVE SUCH AN OPTION?
There is no such concept in dentistry. In order to place the permanent teeth after implants, we need to wait for the implants to fuse with the jawbone for a period of at least 3 months. Otherwise, implants may wiggle and implant losses may occur. It is not possible to take measurements for making a permanent prosthesis before the gums are healed.
WILL I BE ASSISTED FOR MY HOTEL AND TRANSFERS PROCEDURES DURING STAY IN TURKEY?
When you arrive in Turkey, your transfers between the airport and your hotel will be carried out upon your request. We have a contracted hotel near our clinic. If you wish, we can make a reservation at the hotel on your behalf, so that you can stay there with an affordable price.
Turn Your Treatment Into Holiday.

EPHESUS (1.5 hours to Dent Forum Dental Clinic)
Ephesus, Greek Ephesos, the most important Greek city in Ionian Asia Minor, the ruins of which lie near the modern village of Selƈuk in western Turkey. In Roman times it was situated on the northern slopes of the hills Coressus and Pion and south of the Cayster (Küçükmenderes) River, the silt from which has since formed a fertile plain but has caused the coastline to move ever farther west. The Temple of Artemis, or Diana, to which Ephesus owed much of its fame and which seems to mark the site of the classical Greek city, was probably on the seaboard when it was founded (about 600 BCE), one mile east by northeast of Pion (modern Panayir Daǧ). In Roman times a sea channel was maintained with difficulty to a harbour well west of Pion. By late Byzantine times this channel had become useless, and the coast by the mid-20th century was three miles farther west. Ephesus commanded the west end of one great trade route into Asia, that along the Cayster valley, and had easy access to the other two, along the Hermus (Gediz) and the Maeander (Büyükmenderes) rivers.
ÇEŞME HOLIDAY CENTER ( 35 minutes to Dent Forum Dental Clinic)
Çeşme is a coastal town and the administrative centre of the district of the same name in Turkey's westernmost end, on a promontory on the tip of the peninsula that also carries the same name and that extends inland to form a whole with the wider Karaburun Peninsula. It is a popular holiday resort and the district center, where two thirds of the district population is concentrated. Çeşme is located 85 km west of İzmir, the largest metropolitan center in Turkey's Aegean Region. There is a six-lane highway connecting the two cities (Otoyol 32). Çeşme district has two neighboring districts, Karaburun to the north and Urla to the east, both of which are also part of İzmir Province. The name "Çeşme" means "fountain" and possibly draws reference from the many Ottoman fountains that are scattered across the city.
IZMIR CITY CENTER ( 15 minutes to Dent Forum Dental Clinic)
Izmir has over 3000 years of recorded urban history and up to 8500 years of history as a human settlement since the Neolithic period.[citation needed] Set in an advantageous location at the head of a gulf in a deep indentation midway along the western Anatolian coast, the city has been one of the principal mercantile ports of the Mediterranean Sea for much of its history. Modern İzmir also incorporates the nearby ancient cities of Ephesus, Pergamon, Sardis and Klazomenai, and centers of international tourism such as Kuşadası, Çeşme, Mordoğan and Foça. When the Ottomans took over İzmir in the 15th century, they did not inherit compelling historical memories, unlike the other key points of the Ottoman trade network, namely Constantinople (Istanbul), Damascus, Baghdad and Cairo.[citation needed]
The emergence of İzmir as a major international port by the 17th century was largely a result of the attraction it exercised over foreigners and the city's European orientation. Politically, İzmir is considered a stronghold of Kemalism and the Republican People's Party (CHP).
Izmir's port is Turkey's primary port for exports in terms of the freight handled and its free zone, a Turkish-U.S. joint-venture established in 1990, is the leader among the twenty in Turkey. The workforce, and particularly its rising class of young professionals, is concentrated either in the city or in its immediate vicinity (such as in Manisa and Turgutlu), and as either larger companies or SMEs, affirm their names with an increasingly wider global scale and intensity.
İzmir hosted the Mediterranean Games in 1971 and the World University Games (Universiade) in 2005. In March 2008, İzmir submitted its bid to the BIE for hosting the Universal Expo 2015, but it was won by Milan, Italy.
